The RSS feed works!

Have you never read the "His Dark Materials" series by Philip Pullman? The first book ("Northern Lights" in the UK, "The Golden Compass" in the US) is due to be released as a film in the not-to-distant future. The first two books are very good. The third one loses the plot somewhat (or, more accurately, gains the plot that Pullman intended to write. It's better without that...)

And in other news... Oh. The captcha stuff ("please type the characters you see above") doesn't work in Opera. Bunch of...

hmmm.... I have to do that verification because I had a dose of blog spamming a while back and it was VERY annoying. How annoying is it that you can't do it in Opera?

A very good argument may convince me to take it off...

I get a place-holder for the graphic, with the alt text of "Visual Verification" showing. But no actual graphic, so it's a "little" hard to transcribe it.

And clicking on the disabled wheelchair symbol next to the input box now produces a large amount of white space, which is something to do with a missing plug-in (but I haven't figured out what's missing yet). That's an improvement on the first attempt, where it took me to a "404-page not found" error!

Don't bother disabling it on my account. By the time I've decided to comment, it's not to hard for me to load up Firefox! I'm just amused, and considering a good rant at the blogger admins ;-)

Not wanting to argue (especially with my new Web 2.0 helper)... or defend Blogger which has gone downhill since Google bought it...

But surely its Opera you should rant at?
