Peas and roses

Had to do an hour in the garden when I got home today. But check out my peas!! So many pods that they were weighing the plants down and I had to tie them all back up!

While we are at it - just count the buds on my yellow rose!!

New addictions

So with a special shoe shelf unit, shoe rack, under bed shoe storage box and shoes on each stair... its time for a new addiction.

But what is going to win?

Will it be my new love of sunglasses, demonstrated today when I said to Becky over lunch "its not quite bright enough for these sunglasses at the moment, but I have another two pairs in here [rummage in handbag] of differing tones...."

Or will my bikini obsession pip the sunglasses to the post? I now have more bikinis than days holiday in Tobago...

We shall have to see!!

Complex plumbing

So I appreciate that a leaking and very old stop cock is about as problematic as you can get in the plumbing world (especially when the mains tap on the road serves about 30 houses....), but is this really a recognised plumbing technique for certified plumbers? ;-)

Check out my weekends handiwork.... been taking it easy and pottering around the garden, with the occasional short bouts of sweaty mud hauling. Love that country life :-)
