The tricky thing about living alone is that when you look at your almost empty large tub of jam, you know you ate it all. Its a lot of jam for one person to have eaten, no matter how long the timescale.
It works in reverse too-you can see the healthy stuff in the cupboards (lentils, dried chickpeas, miso soup) and you know that you have never actually opened the packets. At least with a healthy eating flatmate you could convince yourself that you had eaten the good stuff while they dined on jam night after night...
How funny - I was half way through reading your answer and was thinking...Lentils?? Dried chickpeas?? I don't even BUY that stuffThen saw you don't open the packets, so I feel much better :-)
